It's here! Just in time for the holidays - the next episode of Autodesk On the Job, this time I'm in Newberg, OR working with A-dec www.a-dec.com. A-dec has been bringing some of the most revolutionary dental equipment solutions to market since 1964. Their vision of providing a quality environment where people work together for the betterment of dentistry worldwide permeates every aspect of their business, and has created a culture of quality that is evident in every person that I’ve met with at A-dec and it’s what they refer to as the A-Dec Way. I met up with members of the A-dec team to see firsthand how their culture of quality impacts product design from engineering, through to technical illustrations.
I split up the entire episode into 6 small videos, the first one is a general overview of my visit and touches a little bit on engineering, machining, fabrication, tooling, and technical illustration. Have a look:
So like I said, good general overview of the trip. Now if you're like me you want to know specifically how are they going from formed part to flat to nest, to burning parts in around 15 min...? Well, watch the entire playlist here: Autodesk OTJ A-dec
Or, for your viewing pleasure feel free to view them right here from the comfort of my blog.
Now... Who's next?
